People with swollen feet find it difficult to put on standard slippers and even if they can get them on, they can be very tight and restrict blood flow. This can also cause sores and therefore increase risk of infection.These specially designed slippers have a top that opens up and folds back. Even the heel area opens up, so the foot can be easily put in without pain or discomfort.
Style 1; The slipper is made of velour and provides a suede effect to the exterior. They are an adjustable extra wide fitting slipper, including wide fitting 'E', 'EE', 'EEE', all within the same slipper. Available in dual sizes 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8.
Style 2; This slipper is made from a perforated breathable fabric. They are an adjustable extra wide fitting slipper, including wide fitting 'E', 'EE', 'EEE', 'EEEE' and 'EEEEE', all within the same slipper. Available in dual sizes 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10.
Both Styles; The larger sizes are achieved by removing the thick memory foam insole. You can then add a thinner insole to suit the wearer's needs or they can be worn without an insole to reach their maximum size, as there is also a further padded sole built in to the slipper.
Once the foot is in the slipper, the top folds over and fastens by way of Velcro. As the swelling of the feet goes up and down the Velcro fastening allows the tightness / width and length of slipper to be adjusted. The multi-Velcro fastening allows these slippers to be dual size as well.
The insole is made of thick memory foam for extra comfort and the slip resistant rubber sole has plenty of tread, making them suitable for inside and outside use. Some people even wear them as shoes! These slippers are available in black only.
